The Hmong American Student Association (HASA) of the University of Wisconsin-Madison welcomes you to our webpage. HASA stands for and represents the community of students that it serves. HASA serves as a social and cultural resource for students to network and have fun while at the same time reaching for their educational goals.
HASA hosts many events. A potluck, a picnic and parties all are hosted by HASA and are open to all. Meetings are held for updates on events and for topical discussions and new ideas. Volunteer or community service events are also hosted by HASA.
The HASA Vision:
Promote cultural awareness and acceptance.
Create student unity.
HASA Mission:
To promote diversity and bridge the gap between Hmong students and the community.
To serve as a common ground for students.
Our Goals:
Reach out to the community through volunteer and service events.
Educate community through cultural events.
Encourage student participation
